Hobbs State Park

We visited War Eagle Cavern on our recent vacation and loved it! We enjoyed walking the trails and views of the water. And the kids were so excited to see real live bats. Our tour guide, I think his name was Adam, told some great stories. I highly recommend it to any family

Hobbs State Park

Hobbs State Park - Conservation, located 10 miles east of Rogers, at some 12,000 acres is the largest of the Arkansas state parks. It's Hidden Diversity Multi-Use Trail is sixteen miles long for hiking, mountain biking and equestrian use. Parking for the multi-use trail is two miles south of Highway 12 on Townsend Ridge Road (near War Eagle Road). Shaddox Hollow Trail, one mile north of Highway 12 on Highway 303 offers gorgeous views of Arkansas forest on a 1 1/2 mile moderately difficult hike. Historic Van Winkle Trail, a half-mile ADA walk, is accessible from a parking area on Highway 12 at Van Winkle Hollow. Pigeon Roost Trail has four and eight mile hiking loops as well as primative camping sites. A 17,000 sq. ft. Visitor Center on Highway 12 opened in May of 2009.
